Broker Fee, Carrier Payment & Cancellation Disclosure

World Class Moving & Storage charges a broker service fee for arranging transportation of your household goods with a properly licensed and insured motor carrier. This fee compensates us for coordinating and scheduling the moving services and is separate from the carrier’s transportation charges.

All transportation costs are paid directly by the customer to the assigned carrier. Unless alternative payment arrangements are made in advance, carrier charges are collected C.O.D. and are typically divided into two equal payments—one due at the time of pickup and the remaining balance due upon delivery at the destination address. World Class Moving & Storage does not collect, process, or receive any portion of the carrier’s transportation charges.

You acknowledge that World Class Moving & Storage and the transporting carrier operate as independent businesses, and that agreements related to transportation services are entered into solely between you and the carrier.

Because broker services begin immediately upon confirmation of your order, the broker service fee becomes non-refundable after 72 hours from the time the bill of lading is executed. No exceptions apply once this period has passed.

Pursuant to 49 CFR § 375.505(h), cancellations are not permitted and deposits are not refundable beyond the three-day rescission period or once moving services have commenced. Moving services are considered to have begun when any physical work related to your move has started, including but not limited to packing, loading, storage, or transportation to or from the pickup or delivery location. Once your property has been loaded onto the moving vehicle, the order may no longer be canceled.

By signing or electronically accepting this disclosure, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above.
